Camping in Andalucia Trip

After a scorching hot early April the weather as it seems to do, turned for the Easter week and we´ve had on and off torrential downpours rather than April showers since.

Today it´s a joy to look at the totally blue and yellow weather forecast for the next four days and I´m sure onwards now, as we head towards the unrelenting heat of the summer. It is only with glorious weather that I can contemplate camping! Yes I´m a fairweather camper. The rain has been exceptionally heavy and I can´t imagine being in a tent throughout the week we´ve just had.

Now our plans our laid and our next camping trip starts in Granada. First to the north side of the Sierra Nevada mountain range heading towards Guadix the famous cave-house town. Then to Dilar, south of Granada en-route to the Costa Tropical or Granada coast.

That´s the definates so far, once we hit the coast we´ll either head towards Salobereña and Nerja or to Roquetas del Mar and Almeria. More decisons to be made, but we will plan where we´re going before we head off. Now we just have to set a date.
There´s nothing in the world quite like getting back to nature. Lying on the grass, watching the stars and listening to the sounds of nature.
