This site was one of Spain's first and as such it was a little past its best on our last visit but with certain old-fashioned charm. When we visited we only heard Spanish spoken which makes a change, and the site is small which we like, but what really sold it to us was the pitches on the beach - for tents only.
I'm sure we wouldn't have driven a Camper or Motorhome on the soft sand anyway but the thought of falling asleep to the shushing sound of the sea and opening the tent flap in the morning on the sand beckons.
So when we revisited it this year, I think four years since our first visit, we were very happy. The original family are now back in charge and have been busy updatig, painting, remodelling and the result is so uplifting. I'm planning on adding it to next year's itinerary to stay more than one night.
There's a nice little bar/restaurant on site serving reasonable food.
If you like small and charming its hard to beat, add its own beach and you've a winner.
